There is no software to install, no configuration or setup and it all runs over a simple web based connection. You remain in full control of the session and can watch exactly what our representative is doing in real time as it is displayed on your screen. You may cancel the session at any time by selecting the "X" and quitting the session. There is no need to worry about security because the entire session is run through an SSL connection and is completely encrypted. No software remains installed on your computer after the session; and it cannot be restarted unless another connection initiated by you.
 

If you have one of our Support or Managed Services Contracts, the Virtual Technician service is provided at no charge for sessions less than 15 minutes; after that, you will be billed at your current Contract Rate in 15-minute increments.

HOW IT WORKS:

STEP 1:
Once you are on the phone with a member of our support team, you will be directed back to this page to initiate the screen-sharing session. Click the support icon below to be directed to our secure remote support server. Once there, click the name of your support engineer to open a new support session.

STEP 2:
You are prompted to RUN a small virus-free plug-in.

STEP 3:
Once the program runs, your support representative can view your screen and share control of your mouse and keyboard

STEP 4:
You are in full control of your computer at all times. You always have overriding control of your mouse and keyboard, and you can end the screen-sharing session at any time by pressing ESC.
