WebMail gives
you access to your email from anywhere in the
world. All you need is an internet connection
and a web browser (for example, Internet
Explorer or Netscape). Once you get to our
webmail site, simply enter your email address
and password and your mail will be waiting for
you at our post office (mail server).
Restrictions &
Limitations:
 |
While
accessing your email via Webmail, you
cannot access the email from any other
source at the same time. That is, you
cannot have your normal email client
program (e.g., Outlook Express; Outlook;
Eudora; Netscape; etc) open while
attempting to log on to webmail; two (2)
users cannot access the same email box
at the same time. In these cases, an
error will occur when you log into
webmail. Please make sure your email
client program is closed (not simply
minimized) before trying to access your
mail via WebMail. |
 |
AlphaLink only saves email at the post
office for 180 days. It is deleted after
that time. Webmail is not intended to
replace your email client software and
should not be used to store the any
email you wish to keep. Please make sure
you “deliver” your mail to your
computer’s email program for permanent
storage and backup. |
 |
WebMail may not function properly if you
have a Pop-Up blocking software loaded.
You will need to either disable the
pop-up blocking software or “whitelist”
the webmail site (webmail.alink.com). |

Support Note:
Pop-Up Blocker software will interfere with the
use of WebMail. WebMail requires that multiple
browsers screens be open at the same time. If
the Compose features does not open, this is most
likely because you have a pop-up blocker
enabled. Enter http://mail.alink.com as a
“trusted” or “whitelisted” site in your pop-up
blocker software settings. |
